Easdale Wall and Easdale family,

Slate Quarry traditions combine,

history of past and our 'Homily',

Island people, our good lifeline.

Quarry workers, 'men of the soil',

everything life presented them,

fishermen too, and proud to toil,

'good survival' was their anthem!

Presently, life carries all forth,

life's story is the lottery to win,

family honour, value and worth,

Good progress goes, never thin!

On Family shoulders, we all stand,

as in past, we still 'stride proud',

while friends offer to 'give a hand'

do thank - though 'not allowed'!
