Poem -
Easter
I'm not religious
and I don't pray
but I'm gonna celebrate anyway.....
Coz this weekend...
Is my excuse
to forget the diet
and just let loose....
I wont look in the fields as I drive by,
seeing the little lambs
will only make me cry,
Sit 'round the table
to a special lamb roast meal
with all the family,
the usual deal.
As I relax,feeling quite fat,
the kids head straight
to where the chocolate's at.
Stuffing our faces....
It's the only way!

I'm aware of just how behind Easter I actually am, but I haven't had much time with looking after children over the break from school (& work), but I really like this, it's such a nice poem!

Of course! A couple of friends don't like lamb so we had chicken as well. Seeing as Easter Sunday fell on April fools day I may have pranked them too.. an 'after dinner surprise' turned out to be brussel sprouts covered in chocolate :p lol, that was potentially the deal breaker for another dinner party at mine! Haha x
