Lillies

Nothing lasts forever

Lillies

I had some Beautiful  Lillies in a vase,         they bloomed, then they bloomed again, then they bloomed some more.

They were the best Lillies  I've ever had, they lasted quite some time
But, alas they'd bloomed thier last.
Now thier petals are on the floor.

Hi JENNY!!.....this is so lovely in its simplicity and wonderful subtlety......with a rhyme scheme that sits so gently atop the formatting that it reads aloud like something magically romantic.....like a daydream from a young princess in a fairy tale.......One can almost smell the petals!!......a delightful read dear poet sister!!.......ALL STARS!! & PINNED!!......Bravo......LOVE & ROCKETS!!.....T xo  :  )
