Easter Sunrise

With the radiance of a heavenly backdrop
the orange ball of fire rose from the east
the eye of Gods beauty, bestowed down
upon the beast.

The land still in deep slumber
so many eyes but none could see
the life of a mornings dew drop
evaporate silently.

The orange ball transformed into yellow
as the early mornings beauty disappeared
not a soul experienced the happening
nor a single heart shed a tear.

The day of crucifixion
blue in on the mornings breeze
no one was aware of the arrival
thier only concern, the Easter eggs seized.

So many hearts in deep slumber
none had the need to see,
the life of Jesus end silently
upon the cross at Calvary.

And through his death he showed us
it was planned for us to see,
he laid burdened with the sins
of the world, and did it lovingly.

Hands of love and forgiveness
forever reaching out,
become one with his reality
clear your heart of any doubt.
