Eavesdropping Drama

A group was chatting.
Somebody came along and started eavesdropping.
They came at the wrong time and their mouth started dropping.
The Eavesdropper started calling their friends and their mouth was running.
Were telling so many people what they heard, over a dozen.
Conclusions they were jumping.
All the attention they were loving.
The halls had people buzzing.
The group didn't know how this got out all of a sudden.
Who told? How did this happen?
People walked by them whispering and laughing.
The Eavesdropper went up to them and started asking,
'What actually happened?'
Turns out what she heard wrong and this was all her causing.
Someone in their group got a new game they started playing.
The main character was cheating on his girlfriend
The person telling her was saying he doesn't know who went around saying his friend was cheating.
Now the guy and his girlfriend are fighting.
She's saying their relationship they're now ending.
All because she decided to start gossiping,
Instead of asking.
When she was hearing them talk about something.
