Eeeh A & E 😱
I was sitting lost betwixt my bubbles penning my poem
Sat looking out of my conservatory windows in the comfort of my own home
When something very strange which I cannot explain
Made me turn my eyes to focus outside on the running rain..
I noticed some steel step ladders perched precariously outside
And when I actually realised my hubby was at the very top of them, I kid you not I almost died
Coz I went into overdrive within this very dangerous vision
I thought ‘Oh my God that looks disasterous’ and I hurried on my worried mission..
The next thing that happened was betwixt the blink of an eye
I wasn’t quiet out of the back door when I let out a cry
Following a CRASH!! BANG!! WALLOP!! my better half was lying flat out on his face
With a pool of red blood oozing all over that place..
Though he says he wasn’t I can tell you, he was knocked out cold
Eeh he forgets we are not getting any younger and actually aging old
Of course we are just back home from a very long day in A & E
Thankfully Michael, our son-in-law drove my accidental husband and me..
The moral of this story is ‘Do not tempt fate’ when you are growing old
Coz hubby now has stitches in his brow and broken his kneecap from not doing as he was told!!!

more accidents involve ladders at home than any other! glad he is alive! ............my wife gives it to me when I climb, however that was in my twenty year job description! lol! I think you will have to tie a ball and chain to him when you are not looking! lol! great write and great lesson!.....................lad PS............prayers!

A long day at A and E is not exactly a grand, sunny fun day out for this poor soul and everyone else.

Give him a brandy or a double dose of mother's ruin to make him sleep better.

Thanks Greg its been a long eventful day hospital is over an hr away n we were there 6 hrs sat in car waiting on him hes just hot in his bed with long support on his leg n stitches on brown n other leg... the wounded soldier... I will check on him few times thru night when go for wees lol xx❤️💕❤️

Oh dear That’s very painful Will probably have to have a cast that will take six weeks then Then have to have therapy after that that’s another four weeks or five weeks when I broke my arm I was in pain for a year finally I got better
Ay tho he coulda went thru huge window so guessin that woulda been much worse xx❤️💕❤️
