The act of surrender,
And letting go of,
this so called defender.
Defending you from,
all your worries,
And making you,
in such a hurry.
Rushing around,
getting fuck all done,
Stopping your heart,
from shining like the sun.
Criticising you,
for every thought,
Teaching you things,
you’ve never been taught.
Making you think,
you’re living in delusion,
When it is him,
who sucks you,
into illusion.
This guy who has,
such an influencing voice,
Can no longer hurt you,
when you clear through the noise.
Then you can see things,
so much more clearly,
And not be frightened,
no more,
and be so weary.
This defender who,
had such an effect,
Has no idea,
what is coming next.
The only thing,
he does know,
is his ends in sight,
And he’s slowly dissolving,
no matter how he fights.
