Elemental

Elemental

For my husband. Thank you for 20 years of soul sharing.

You taste of the sea and windswept spaces
As you capture my sigh within your hands
Your eyes tell stories of hidden places
I burrow down in the warmth of your land

As you capture my sigh within your hands
We're cradled in the glow of a moonbeam
I burrow down in the warmth of your land
And when we sleep it's your visions I dream

We're cradled in the glow of a moonbeam
Finding solace in a whale's lullaby
And when we sleep it's your visions I dream
Of children and horses learning to fly

Finding solace in a whale's lullaby
Your eyes tell stories of hidden places
Of horses and children learning to fly
You taste of the sea and windswept spaces

This is a pantoum style poem, with repeating lines that create a cascading effect.

AUTHOR WILLIAMS...

Jenny Good,

This is an earlier write from this gifted poetess. As the author states, this is being scribbled in a  pantoum style, with repeating lines that create a cascading effect. Moreover, I strongly feel the  imaginary could be made further crystal clear with inner meanings and more symbolic representations. I love the below lines:

" We're cradled in the glow of a moonbeam
Finding solace in a whale's lullaby
And when we sleep it's your visions I dream
Of children and horses learning to fly "

Reading between the lines:  Symbols play a vital part in poetry writing. If you dream of seeing or riding a white horse, the indications are favorable for prosperity and pleasurable commingling with congenial friends and fair women. If the white horse is soiled and lean, your confidence will be betrayed by a jealous friend or a woman. If the horse is black, you will be successful in your fortune, but you will practice deception, and will be guilty of assignations.

Regards

WILLIAMSJI MAVELI
