Everlasting Tragedies

When the world ended before

Everlasting Tragedies

I saw it all...
Ash and debris in the midst of it's fall...
A sky fire raging hot white from above, and below
Enough conflict to smother out love...
I watched as all manner of banner and flag,
From lofty locations to dirt were they dragged,
By creatures with features too dismal to say,
Thirsty for blood and just hacking away,
For 37 days I would watch the descent,
The inevitable coming of man to repent,
At the end of the world and take no offense
We all became animals and have been ever since
