Embowed

Embowed

Fractured, effigies burn, surreal thoughts bestowed,
Long blades flicker and dance in song, images embowed.
Crimson dominates the stratosphere, half crescent looms,
Billows of white surpass and caress many moons.

Flora weaves entwined within the trees,
Fauna evolves inside out regardless of pleas.
Lightening ripples across the skies,
Shards of light splinter my eyes.

The earths crust crumbles, consumes me within,
Demon of mischief arise, malefic of grins.
It blurs and merges into my eyes,
Forcibly explodes as I meet my demise.

I fall, limbs sporadically splinter,
Instilled in time in harshest of winters.
Flesh falls from my muscles and bone,
Poisoned with truth, ripped from my throne.

Eaten and scattered for spoils, debris to waste,
My organs alive, thrive on taste.
Exhumed from my being, they crawl in solitude,
Crazed creatures from psyche attack in multitude.

Dowsed in blue flame, I roar and scream,
Midst morn I arise, depart from dream.
