Early that one morning’ you were smiling’

I was layin’ next to you

I was wishing I had met you earlier

Don’t know how it all got started

But our hearts are still strong

Please feel what I feel

On another day

On that side road by chance you were there

Cold but we did not care

Heading out we walked

Had to pay some  stiff dues getting through to you

You were still mad

Please feel what I feel

Both agreeing to what was best

but not believing it

I started walkin’ away

You turned around to look at me

I heard you say

We’ll be together again

You said
