EN AND ST

I opened my dictionary this morning on a random page 
Words beginning with en appeared like enjoy and engage
I made a pledge to myself that a poem I will write
Starting with en I hope will entertain and enlight

Nothing entered my mind I'm really sorry to say
No encore for me if I was writing a comedy play
So I left this poem with other projects to ensue
The endgame in sight when an idea came into view

A poem beginning with en will never start or be
Maybe start another that will begin with the letters st
There is no need for you to get stroppy with me
I can stop at anytime as you can plainly see
