Endurance

Endurance I’ve never felt an emotion so strong 
Endurance how can u tolerate people who do u so wrong 
They say u r supposed to forgive and forget 
But there are things I’ve forgiven but can’t forget just yet. 
If only I didn’t have emotions I wouldn’t feel this way 
I wouldn’t feel the pain from your blatant disregard each day 
If only I didn’t have emotions I wouldn’t overthink 
Create over complicated scenarios in my head until I’m on the brink 
Of insanity
Struggling to stay sane 
You’ll never understand my pain 
To think your loved when your not 
When what you need most is love and a lot 
Of it 
But instead the world is breaking you bit by bit 
You may think these words are random but they make sense to me 
Even though I feel like I’m floating through life like some sort of entity 
And at every turn there’s a new torment and burden to carry 
In this lifetime, as I wonder through life like a  journey 
When will enough be enough 
When will I stop being tough 
And Stop being able to endure the struggle 
When will the flood gates Burst open 
will the words that I’ve spoken 
be enough for someone to lend a hand 
Or will My endurance disappear like footprints in the sand ....
