Energy of Some Sort

It awakes the soul: to leap as deer: an energy of some sort:
Fight or flight, they say. I suppose I’m excited: a feeling vague.
I ponder nightingales, and surf the net: so much to enjoy; but
Still, a song of mourning, lingers nigh: a boundless energy.
So I count the troubles; and mold the angst. I’m connected to
Many: Is it possible: I feel a friend: or maybe, a spirit. Surely,
I wander far; and surely, the morning sings: an upsurge of
Prose: a mellow temper: it’s our place to scribble. The slightest
Tremble, a moving heart; and anxious thoughts, move the
Mind. Far from me: the depth of thought; and far from me: a
Remedy. Thus, a blank gaze; and thus, a silent chant. Could it
Be: some sort of effervescence: an energy universal; for days
Of joy, cry sorrow; and days of pain, cry wisdom. Nevertheless,
It awakes the soul: to leap as deer: an energy of some sort.
