ENTITLEMENT

You were given a good life, one of the geatest prizes,
your choice what you do, fortune comes in different siizes;
if you don't ask, you won't get, pride just becomes faulty,
why you don't do that, didn't do this, becomes a mystery.

However, you had your share of sunshine, yellow gold,
trouble was that you often didn't do as you were told;
we looked back - well now, you made a mess didn't you?
You, you, you - why couldn't you be normal as others do?

What is 'normal'? Nothing, goalposts move constantly,
'lucky' comes to mind, right place at right time, see;
so, are we happy now? No, not really, just want to live,
although for future, we should be more prepared to give.

Huh, hmmm, you made me sit in your office diffidently,
so perhaps next time we should all do things differently.
