Entwined

Love

Entwined

Souls lie still, gazing skyward,
Time content to pass,
Shapes are made, dreams are shared,
Entwined, the lover's kiss,

A gentle breeze, of summer warmth,
Lays blessing upon new love,
The trees stand witness, the lush grass cushion's
Entwined, the lover's kiss,

The distance felt within their souls,
Alone they felt each other,
A life not destined to be alone,
Entwined, the lover's kiss,

A moment savoured, time stands still,
Hearts beat as one,
Eyes connected, soul unguarded,
Entwined the lover's kiss,

For on this wordless, solemn promise,
A vow to love & gently cherish,
A moment cast in frozen time,
Entwined the lover's kiss.
