Equilibrium

Equilibrium

Exquisite sun kissed waters, mirror hue and splendour.
As I dance and folly, I masquerade, intent on rugged venture,
Intent on self-exploration, stripped, laid waste to the crows,
Dishevelled chaotic thought, light cracks betwixt my woes.

An eager to reside, succumb to crimson plateau,
Scorched lips and pilfered hearts sporadically lay as I grow.
I rise in ardent nature, enthralled yet bewildered,
I replenish faintly whispers, my vessel gilded.

Betrothed I am calm, refrain from solicit wile,
Empathic of misdemeanours of past beguiled.
Bestowed, I recreate, discover my elysian,
Beset on all sides, embroiled in equilibrium.

An exquisite piece, Simon! Such a delightful way to depict internal conflict!
