Poem -

Eternity

I'm afraid to let you come close with the fear of losing you,

you'll see the real me, horrified that you won't like what you see
because there is no life without you just a empty void,

The disturbing though of expressing my true feelings but also with the fear of losing you

so guilty of my foolish heart,
for not telling you when I actually fell for you,

I reveal my secret, I held you in my heart.

I connected to your soul to have loved you,
I feel so lucky to have held your hand through the years
And so blessed to have the chance to grow old with you.

In the end when I have wrinkles, I'll be happy because my hands will be in your hands.

Then I'll unveil my heart to you
and secret which I've held for so long that we will be together for all of eternity
