Eternity Of Seconds

it's dark, so dark I can't see, but I do see everything around me 
my environment, my immediate surroundings, my self 
the darkness still consumes me in a never-ending eternity of 
just seconds 
what is it there for? to scare me 
to frighten me to show my future 
and as I gaze helplessly towards it 
no clue what it is but a sense of security 
and one gleaming silver sparkle that I just now noticed 
this is my fate as i accept it in the eternity that is only 
seconds long 
this darkness is nagging in the back of me 
back of my brain where its path is defined 
it's coming, I feel the squeeze as it occurs 
the eternity that is my last few seconds 
BAM.
