Rebirth

I wander and follow
The hollow path
Set forth for the chains
Of the sunset`s dust.

Nor do I live
Into this carving air
For far off breathing
A new future reign.

No familiar place
Only a lonely chase
A view of blossoms
That cheers my faith.

I glance upon the streaming glass
The wind whispers as I dance
The sorrows of my fading dreams
Are the companions I choose to keep.

Men of forgotten tales
To dust they turned in the rage of time
The landscapes growing as I fall
On these ancient, forsaken lands.

I stood before the frozen lake
I touched its crystal falling rain
Dived over its fading shine
As the sky turned ashes upon the shire.
