Every First

They say you only have one first
Your first boyfriend
your first kiss
And your first love

But thats not true
For every boyfriend you feel nervous like he's your first
For every kiss you give with someone new is a first
For every love feels like your first

You have more experience every time
But you still get nervous
You still get butterflies
You still feel self conscious
And when you break up
The pain is still the same

All the experience does is help you cope
But no matter what
Its always someone new
Something new
And some place new
Which makes it a first
