Very relatable, my ex I still haven’t gotten totally over, because she was an Angel and I was the devils spawn then. I’m married now but still carry my exe’s name on my arm, and my wife is ok with that. Losing my ex was what it took for me to hit rock bottom and finally hear her words…” Rob , you need to change” 
It was a year of abusing alcohol, reliving my past childhood through writing 10 poems a day and 55 freestyle songs and the transformation began. My heart still reserves and maintains a spot just for her. There’s always beauty to be found amidst and among the pain, no one has ever regretted working on themself while they are forced to wait. Stay strong brother, your love for her is only natural and expected. Who knows what the future may bring. You’re not alone.
