EXILE

Breathe in deep
Within a sea
Of desperate dreams
I have no mouth
And I must scream

Around me, surround me
It subjugates me
I feel the pull
I'm begging

No fear, no tears
Even though I'm at a loss
The numbing shell
Of rapid thoughts

Yet they seem to glow
Poetry frozen as life
Disregard the pretense
When it illuminates everything
Yonder drew me in
Like a siren song
A frame of film melting
Moving slowly underneath

Sometimes I understand
The reasons I went astray
But least of all the answers
That it hurts to recall them 

I confess
Feel as if I'm incomplete
Drowning in the brevity
Like the road I'm travelling on

Here I am
Foreign to this world
Everyone loves to love you
When you're far away.........
