Exodus

Here I stand
to hearld a new dawn
or to retract
in shortcomings of soul,
this venture called
life's journey
has drawn me
to this juncture.
The soul beckons
the mind cries
new testament
for conception,
each season anew
brings forth change
it's time to lead
the exodus.
Time to preserve
the beautifully fragile
arise and go
to pastures new,
the love,hope 
truth, strength
rekindled spirit
to grow once more.
Onwards, forwards
never back
fear replaced
by advent of promise,
through rugged landscape
hostile environ
the kind of doubt
and self possession.
In faith's gift
I shall not flounder
the seed of destiny
in my dreams,
hope's concept
elevates the soul
it's time to lead
the exodus.
