Explode

I was almost all the way in ,

Until you broke my heart and made a mockery of us.

Maybe i'm being overly emotional.

Maybe my heart has seen too many blows.

I just know that the pain won't disappear this time.

I'm tired of the fight required to protect your ego.

My strength has failed me and this has brought me to a dark place.

This battle of good verses evil is catastrophic,

A burden that eats at my soul deep enough to end me.

Why must I torture myself?

I need my peace with this before I explode.
