Exquisite night

The sea's salty fresh air,
Warmth of tropical breeze flowed gracefully,
Exotic plants aspire,
Harvest moon's borrowed light illuminates irredescently.
Filling the twilight hours,
Stars of thousands spark an exquisite night,
The sounds so surreal,
In the dead of spring,
Creatures stir in bushes and shrubs that conceal,
Meadow's filled with fairies rings,
The Rose's thorns growing buds,
Majestic elegance they spread,
Magic in the air and in the earth;
Bring forth seeds and spuds,
Rising in the warm exotic air like a Baker's rising bread.
Creeks and streams,
Rushing; flowing,
In a nook a lion dreams,
Streams luscious lips,
Spill over ancient brooks,
Occasionally a pebble slips.
In the ravine the waters shallow,
Floating logs that have fallen,
Petrified and hollow,
Down the stream it follows,
Into the exquisite night;
The stark crane wallows.
