Poem -

Eye through Sand

My Autumn turning into sand
Before my eye.Ā
Led by my hand and a trail of
Eye socket.
All I can give her is a grin and
Take her body.
This is mine.Ā  Teeth, skin, fingernail
And spine.
Hair, toes, tongue, and core
All the more.
My autumn turning into sand
Before my eye.
Her nightmare seeping
Through an eyepatch.
I will not burn with her.
