Eyes (Inspired by Scarface)

“Look me in my eyes”; and panic such death; and live such growth.
She nearly died—enlove with death; and scar our souls—a
Portal grave; and I resurrect; and I die; and mother loved; and
Mother fried. I walk such marble; and vultures ask: “Shall we

Love?” and father swarms—a filled heart; and burn such glory: I
Invited life in; and life entered; and still—the grief—and still—
The curse. Thus, look me in my eyes; and point the mandala; and
Speak what you see; and wiggle my nightmare. It’s just too

Shallow to speak the deep; and I ask no more: alert and bleeding.
Mere proximity: a box of ghosts; and forgive the blood of sin; and
Part the reddest sea; and live Judo. I fall the Sun Tzu; and reign
The Chi; and nuns, wail; and deacons, cry. I feel you more—your
Deepest sorrow; and nothing’s perfect: we must confess; and love
Condemns: we must beware.
