Poem -

IN THE FACE OF MADNESS

IN THE FACE OF MADNESS
I am experiencing a Job like disaster
Everything that gave meaning to my life is gone
Everything I've ever loved
Everything of eternal value
Has been dissolved.
In reality
Life has become a burden
Every second of consciousness
Is a breath of despair.
Once an optimist,
Now my thoughts are bombarded
With doom and gloom
I am tormented in my sleep
I am depressed when awake.
I live outside of myself
I am in a reality of madness
Its where I find solace
Its where madness makes sense
Its where faces and places
Becomes that which I have lost.
Yet!!
I believe in spite of my insanity.
