FACES ON A TRAIN

Faces on a train that all seem to look the same 

But these faces don't exist till we give these faces names 

We are all deranged in a world that seems so strange 

We all don't belong in a society so wrong 

We are all so scared of change but more afraid to stay the same 

Perfection we all chase because ourselves we cant embrace 

In our pictures we're alone yet there's people in our homes 

Conform to every craze like we're all just mindless slaves

We are all unable if we do not have a label 

Get drunk at every club to help us feel more numb 

It's now twelve o'clock and my thoughts just will not stop

On Facebook I will post like I'm nothing but a ghost

Our heads we now keep down and forget to look around 

On folded knee we bend to every latest trend

Though nobody is born with the instinct to conform 

These faces on a train are strangers just the same

But strangers they'll remain if things don't begin to change
