Poem -

Fade Away

I have these emotions stirring
in this black heart of mine
Bringing blood stain tears down
this pale face of mine
Tears of the past and present
in the sand of times
Memories that I once held
slowly fading away
What have I done but tried
to give you my heart
But watch you throw it on
the snow covered ground

The piper has come to claim my soul
he so craved
Dragging me into the dark
Abyss of hell
The angel of death had came
to feed upon my flesh
For the sand in the hour glass
dropped the last grain
Darkness swarms around me
on this midnight hour

For I can smell death linger
in the midnight hour
Looking deep into the flames
that dances in the night
With the smell of decaying bodies
in the midnight air
I have lost the battle with death
now I must say my good bye
Feel my life slowly fade away
with the sands of time

I stare deep into your eyes
seeming the pain inside
As you could feel the coldness
of my skin upon you
I tell you I love you as I draw
my last breath of air
And I slowly fade away in
the silence of the night
