Faded friend

Faded friend

Fade, just fade, just let them fade, there time has come to an end
No coming back, no tears, goodbyes, no broken heart to mend
To see that person walk away is a torment to your mind
To let them fade into the past is a way out of this bind
The moments shared when two were one are oh so far away
But you'll always smile when you think of these, to light your darkest day
Don't be too sad for your own loss and let your heartache mend
True Souls will last beyond this earth and always stay as friends
One future day when all alone, a thousand years from now
That pal you knew from years before, will reach your grasp somehow
You'll know there laugh, you'll know there touch, you'll know that friend so true
And know they traveled a thousand years...to say...hello...how do
