Faded Memories

I sit under the black velvet sky  staring
at the stars that cloak the night
Dreaming of the memories that I hold
within that slowly start to fade
My tears run down my face as they
start to fade into dust blown away
The pain lies deep in my heart
just splitting my soul into two

How long must i hold this pain deep
down in this heart of mine
That brings burden to me that I
must walk this world alone
But i brought this judgement upon
myself for the choice I made
I will walk this world with the faded
memories that is buried within

Will time be able to heal me? Or must
I live with pain deep inside?

Please take me by the hand and guide
me to my soul I lost within
I am like i lost child with no sight to
a world full of death and hatred
I  can hear you and see you but you can
not hear or see me
The pain and suffering that i caused you
blocked me from your heart
