Fading Away

Only time can heal a broken
heart that causes sorrow
This pain bleeds deep inside
of the dark soul of mine
The memories we shared are 
fading away so fast
I lost the way in my life
with hatred deep in my soul

The years that I wasted 
tears my heart to shreds
Wishing I could go back
and turn the hands of time
To feel the love that 
once filled this heart of mine

To feel the warmth of
those soft gentle lips
Setting fire to this black
cold heart of mine
Time slowly ticks as
darkness start to form
The time has come to
have everlasting sleep
