fAERieS + tHiNgS...
The faeries wouldn't play
today
They took down the rainbows,
trampled the flowers
Frightened the horses and cut
off their manes
Scared off the dogs, set them
barking for hours
They shot all the bumble bees
and stamped on the snails
They drowned out the
birdsong with loud snarls and
wails
They glowered at the trees till
the poor things bent low
Even the river trembled,
rushed off to go
And now they sit in great
packs
On the fence there and glower
Wailing their anger
One long hour after hour
They say it's my fault, that my
colours killed their day
That when I let loose my anger
They got in the way, and that
I killed them, I killed them
All their goodness...stone
dead
They are angry at me
For the rage that I said, they
say...
They can't fly in hatred and
that I pulled off their wings
So my day remains black,
lacking

One of my favourites too! But listen, please try and appease the little folk. An angry faerie is one of the worst things you can have in your life! You dont need that, you need them to be on your side!

Lol...I have a very dark side to me also...I have one written about killing them( not posted yet) don't read it, will traumatised you...( I will post with a warning!!!)😆😆😆 And don't ever tell my little granddaughter I will be banished forever, she LOVES faeries lol. I have a fairy door glued to the wall in.my home where the faeries can leave a sweet or coin...it is the first thing they go to when they come home...oh the magic!!! Hugs 💕
