Fairytale truth

There was a time in life I believed in Santa Claus
But in this story
Peter an Paul robbed them all
Fairytales that were sweet
Beautiful madeup lies
Just covered the truth
for your parents allibies
Why they couldn't bless your heart
why the house was falling apart
why your sisters an brothers
took your old trucks an dolls apart
Stories grandma told without sale
A story told for generations to prevail
One-day I awoke on Christmas to see
there was nothing placed under the tree for me
Spirits crushed
tears trickled down
it's  time for me to stop tiptoeing around
Momma said; with strength in her voice
Piss in one hand poop in the other
See which one out weigh the needs of
lights being on for you an your sisters an brothers
Stop all that crying
Rejoice and
"Thank God"
First learn  truly the definition of love oneanother
These are the moments that make me smile
when I think of my mother When I first learned to be grateful in this life for eachother....
