FAITH OVER FEAR

Its well after midnight 

And I am wide awake 

Thinking of the future 

And decisions that I must make 

The season is changing 

A fresh wind is blowing my way 

I must either set sails for a new direction 

Or allow myself to be overtaken with fear 

On the one hand, I am filled with confidence 

Ready to jump in with both feet 

On the other, my mind is confronted 

With those new challenges 

And the possibility of defeat 

But I am reminded of a saying 

I've heard many years ago 

" Anything worth having, is worth fighting for."

So with prayer and devotion 

I will continue to seek God's face

Because in my heart I am convinced 

That He has already prepared me 

To win this race.
