Poem -

FAKE

It is not there to be seen
Outwardly calm
Gliding through life
Exuding such charm

It is not there to be seen
It slips and it slides
In the gaps and the cracks
In the places between

It is not there to be seen
The poison well hidden
Though it wafts in the air
Without thought or care

Defiles all it touches
Invisible death
To all who get near
To all who share breath

It is not to be seen
Within all the beauty
That lies to the sight
Smiles with the bite

But can be found in a place
That cannot hide lies
It is there to be found out

Just look in the eyes.
