Poem -

FALL

Does it lull you with its sweet
song
Whisper secrets in your brain
Does it give you numbing
pleasure
Does it take away the pain

Is it worth it when you wake
up
To know you can't refrain
Does the face there in the
mirror
Disgust you once again

Does the silence scream it's
loudness
Does the hammer in your
head
Crash and bang so loudly
That you take yourself to bed

Is the bottle right there
waiting
Does the golden liquid call
Do you take it by its long slim
neck
And fall  And fall  And fall
Again....

Thankyou Cherie, yes, addiction is truly terrible for the addict and also causes true devastation and terrible anxiety to family and loved ones. You are very kind to praise and comment ♥️
