The Fall

At one time she was frightened by it. The sudden drop from such a great height. Soon, she merely hesitated at the thought of stepping to nothingness. Now, she welcomes, yearns for the sudden lack of material beneath her feet. The whistle of air streamingĀ about her plummeting form. She dreams each night of the fall to come in the morning.
