The Fall

Silent, I hurl myself to the roar
Of all the oceans and the seas of life
I cast my pyrrhic resistance to the tempest
And cease such futility
As would hold me down beneath the waters.
I loosen my clinging hold on my will toward the halcyon
And so too my propinquity toward languor
And my subsequent yearning for a sudden panacea
My hands, my head, my heart
All guided now by that holy gossamer of universal truth
And the will of the divine.
I now quieten my many voices so cerebral
Shut my eyes with hands held open
To this precious ebb and flow
Her hand in mine
We fall into the skyline.

Tony, I am humbled by your supportive and motivating words every time. Thank you so much for such positivity, It genuinely goes a long way for me. Truth be told, my girlfriend and I are headed to China in the next two weeks, to try to start a new life. We have both been unemployed for more than a year, and things are getting tougher and tougher here in South Africa. So this piece is my expression of my acceptance and faith in the will of Divinity, if that makes sense.
Thank you from the bottom of my heart, Plethora. The kind words are deeply appreciated. Always motivates me a little more when positive comments come in from great poets. :)
