Fallen Angel

Fallen Angel

Heaven is farther than ever
they have lost their little angel
My mind is different, my heart ain't saintĀ
Ever since my fall I've endured so much pain.
I don't glow white or have a halo over my head
I have finally fallen from grace.
My wings are grey they are notĀ
what you'd expect
I am no longer perfect nor divine not that I ever was.
I wonder through a medow not really knowing what to say.
But I guess my broken wings speak for themselves
as every feather falls to the ground.
I have become human just like many of my fallen brothers.
For Earth is just a wasteland
where Heaven drops its angelsĀ
when they don't know how to behave.
