“Fallin’ Down” (Inspired by Chris Brown)

I see a mirror—a pale reflection. A ghost is wailing; and ears
Are deaf; and children cry; and parents yell; and so much a
Vision—the land is thirsty; and famine struck; and mother
Died; and father bleeds: an ounce a day. A crowded room—

Unseen—a public breakdown; and she stares: “Where’s
Father”; and I wake up; and I fall asleep. My chest burns—a
Restless soul. He sees the crowd; but how convey—a
Wounded soul; and time is ticking. The mirror speaks—a

Crowded frame; but never that free; and ever that free; and
Never this hell; and ever this hell; and we party pain—a
Fallin’ pearl. Join the island: I’m alone. Now flee the island:
I’m mourning. I push and pull, and pull and push; and every
Branch—partly sawed; and thus the tree—partly free; and
Thus the oak—a torrent sea.
