“Fallin’” (Inspired by Alicia Keys)

Such invisible love: my cryptic love. Our eyes touch tragedy—

Alive the pyramids. Isis, my nightmare: Isis, my destiny. And

How have we loved—a vase of weeds?—my vicious rose.

And such death, a Wisdom flame—my ultimate dream. We

Fall the paradox; and rise infatuated—if only to die, my love.

Such—a ferric love—my vicious rose; and upstream, the

Deepest death. Again, the blues: again, the love: what is this

Nightmare?—it plagues Artemis—nigh the ephod. And thus

The fire, a dungeon flame—a pair of mystic doves. Never

The love—this love; and never the pain—this pain. And we

Die—alive the Doris, my fairest chant. Thus the Prince, a

Passion numb; and thus the love—a perfect death. And my

Torn ideal, our love, the words of Plato; and my love, our

Destiny—the tears of Isis.
