Poem -

falling.

falling.

The orchestra's crescendo
Filled my heart for evermore
When you danced into the room
Was the first time that I saw
Before my eyes were open
But I know they couldn't see.
We ordered a drink of moonlight
The waiter brought a tray
We flew beyond the daylight
But I begged for you to stay
a hoard of glowing angels
Took a spaceship to the moon
While our souls were dancing slowly
To a half forgotten  tune
Tiny whispy breezes
Turned into a mighty gale
As we signed the book of promises
With a love that could not fail
