Falling Soul

Falling Soul

I saw only clouds but in a dark room

I heard only a flame touching silver

I tasted what was no good

I smelled a burning smell that made me calm

I felt what made me scared but I didn't care

I knew right from wrong

but what was right didn't make me feel numb

I knew one day I'd see light but when? who knew

My only care was when and were and how soon

Living now like a new person

Looking back on what path I chose

Proud to overcome such a dark whole

So young but have been through it all

One day I will help a falling soul
