Fame Fatality

Fame Fatality

Long ago,

You and I were linking arms

Skipping through the hallways

Laughing with each other

When we were teens,

We had endless conversations

But you found other people

Crueler than an evil stepmother

You tried to fit in

You tried to get them to like you

But they ignored you

Unless you did something drastic

You tossed me aside

In doing so, you became their friend

You left me all alone

In the darkness, I fell

Now, you're all alone

No one caring about you

How does it feel?

To be left out

How does it feel to look in the mirror

And hate what you see?

How does it feel to be treated like a-

DingDong!

I open the door

It’s you...

You ask for me to forgive you

And if we can reconnect

I look at you in your eyes

And close the door
