Fantasies to reality

For all those who have been let down

Fantasies to reality

He made it rain dashes of diamonds,
And gifted me with finest a rose,
And wrapped in the prettiest linen,
I was placed on a platter of gold,
As quickly as it came, it faded,
The fantasy i once behold,
With lots of silver and ruby,
May my tale once be told,
And it feels like the day before,
But at times a million ago,
And if farwells were sorrows,
Mine befits its hold,
The tears it took to go,
The joy reluctant i throw,
But reality is not a show,
Its works are not made to glow.
So, i made it rain flashes of progress,
And gifted myself a prose,
And wrapped in the strongest of wills,
Was placed in a platter of hope.
