Fat Albert

Fat Albert

You created
the story
of "Fat Albert"
A childhood
treat
that I saw
every Saturday
Morning

As a teen
You entertained
me
with being a Doctor
and great family man
"Dr. Heathcliff "Cliff" Huxtable
you were called

Today
They found you
guilty
of some
horendous
crimes
I would
like to believe
it was some
political lynching
as you opposed
Much of Hollywood's
views
I don't
know
only God
does
I do though
thank you
for
the laughter
you gave
me
as
a
child
Hearing "Hey Hey Hey
Its Fat Albert!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I idolized Bill Cosby growing up. I not only followed his stand-up career but also watched the Cosby Show and Fat Albert cartoons as a kid.
He was different from most stand-up comics popular in the day. He rarely, if ever, used profanity to garner a cheap laugh.
He was, and is, a genuinely funny guy.
I hate what's happened to Mr. Cosby.
May God be with him...

Hello Greg...

People popping up like weeds all come forward many years later...

Money, Money, Money...

They were more concerned for their careers, so they wait decades?

Monkey See Monkey Do!

Great write!

Thank you for sharing...

Hugs...
