FAT PAT AND SLIM JIM

FAT PAT AND SLIM JIM

Deep in the heart in one of the American states
Lived two fellas who were the best of mates
One was called Slim Jim the other Fat PatΒ
Both as different like a dog and a catΒ

Jim was the one who was worldly and wise
Pat was at his happiest with a plate full of fries
Jim liked the classics Byron and ShelleyΒ
Pat however preferred the movies and the telly

Despite their differences they had of each other
Both regarded their friendship to be that of a brother
Friends forever till death do they partΒ
Both were caring, loving and had a good heart

Okay Mr. KIERAN1369... this is long overdue!!! This is a GREAT heartfelt poem! What it teaches us is a very simple message... that no matter where we are on life's ladder, we are all just simple folks trying to connect on lives journey... a simple message in a very complicated existence! Congratulations dear friend!!! Long overdue but I will try to correct this oversight!!! Your new friend, Happy Jack xx
