FAT PAT AND SLIM JIM

Deep in the heart in one of the American states
Lived two fellas who were the best of mates
One was called Slim Jim the other Fat Pat 
Both as different like a dog and a cat 

Jim was the one who was worldly and wise
Pat was at his happiest with a plate full of fries
Jim liked the classics Byron and Shelley 
Pat however preferred the movies and the telly

Despite their differences they had of each other
Both regarded their friendship to be that of a brother
Friends forever till death do they part 
Both were caring, loving and had a good heart
